e-Money Market Account Application

This "e-Money Market" savings account is governed by the disclosures you received upon joining LAFCU and is also subject to our current rates and fees. The account pays very competitive variable rates, the terms and conditions are subject to change at any time without notice, and the following also applies:

Additional Terms:

5 Checking Transactions: You must maintain an active LAFCU Checking account. This means during each calendar month, the account must have a combination of any five (5) of the following debit (withdrawal) transactions: ATM, Automated Clearing House (ACH), Bill Pay, POS or Share Draft Checks.
Online Statements: You agree to have your statements available online as Online Statements. Within two (2) days of you clicking the "Open" button on the bottom of this page, LAFCU will automatically enable you to receive Online Statements, starting the following month. The first time you access these statements inside online banking, you will need to click the "Online Statements" button, click the "Online Only" button, click the "Online Statements Acceptance Disclosure," read the disclosure, then click the "Accept" button at the bottom of the page.
Average Daily Balance: This must be at least $2,500 to earn dividends.
Account Status Change: If you do not maintain the requirements, your e-Money Market account will be converted to our Regular Money Market Account for the entire quarterly dividend period, unless you re-apply and qualify for the e-Money Market.

Additional Fees:
$8 For each transaction at a LAFCU branch or Shared Branch on your e-Money Market account
$8 For each telephone transaction with someone at our Telephone Center regarding your e-Money Market account
$8 For each paper copy of your monthly Statement

By clicking this box, I acknowledge I have read and agree with the additional terms and conditions and request an e-Money Market account. The account will be opened by LAFCU within two (2) business days of my request with the same ownership as my other LAFCU accounts.

To apply for the e-Money Market account, click the OPEN button below. Your application will be transmitted using secure, encrypted software, and the data provided is only readable by Los Angeles Federal Credit Union. You will receive a receipt via US Mail after this new account is opened.
